The Negroamaro and Black Malvasia (only a small percentage in accordance with the tradition) grape bunches are crushed and de-stemmed together. The wine matures for six months in French oak barrels.

Ripe plummy fruit with a chocolate edge on the nose. The palate is fresh but intense sweet, soft squashy wild cherry jam fruit, good finish of balanced tannin and acidity.
