Stocco

Sauvignon Blanc IGT

Aromatic medium bodied white

Terrain type: generally flat with gravelly substratum covered by a layer of soil

Cultivation system: double french guyot

Density: 4500 plants to hectare

Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel, followed by six months' lees ageing that imparts additional weight and flesh to the final wine.

A youthful herbaceous nose leads into a finely-textured gunflint palate with touches of yellow/tropical fruit and lime zest. The finish is persistent and balanced.

Suitable with shell fish, mixed fried fish, omelettes and herb based risottos.
